Axess/Maxxess is a collaborative music project by German musicians Axel "Axess" Stupplich and Max "Maxxess" Schiefele. Their music blends elements of electronic music with progressive rock, characterized by a symbiosis of intricate electronic sounds and powerful guitar riffs. This combination results in melodic and psychedelic instrumental pieces that are both atmospheric and dynamic.
**Axel "Axess" Stupplich** is a member of the electronic group Pyramid Peak and specializes in analog and digital synthesizers. His music is strongly influenced by the Berlin School of electronic music and is marked by complex sequences and atmospheric soundscapes.
**Max "Maxxess" Schiefele** was a longtime studio musician, and his music is a mix of electronic sounds and progressive rock, with the electric guitar playing a central role.
Their first joint release was the album *Contact* in 2004, followed by *Impact* in 2010. Both albums were highly successful and showcased the seamless fusion of their individual styles. In October 2024, they released their third collaborative album, *Sleep*, which features eight tracks, each telling its own story.
